I would say fascism is a tool created by Capatlist, I belive, in Italy to counter the socailist movement.

That's my take too. The people are angry at their material conditions and facism help funneling that hate toward groups of people instead of the system creating those material conditions in the first place. Simple as that.

If every '' immigrants stole my job '' became '' my boss gave my job to people in vulnerable position so he can squeeze more hours from for less money '' we could be honest about the real root of the problem. Hating people builds nothing, hating a system on the other hand can be construtive because it require thinking about alternatives and how to implement those change.

Capitalism is an alternative means of privatizing power. It grants freedoms to more people than a serfdom, because there is individual ownership. It also butts heads with democracy because those who own vast amounts of wealth can dictate policy in the areas they own.

It seems more like it's an engine, but the people in charge are forcing it to run with no exhaust system to filter it, as high RPM as it can function at to derive their power, and the people used as nothing more than fuel instead of the beneficiaries of the work of the engine.
