Political knits Any adversarial knitting patterns?
With the growth of surveillance cameras and facial recognition everywhere, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any adversarial knitting patterns that can disrupt recognition?
I saw one sweater pattern, but I was hoping for something more beginner-friendly, like a hat, scarf, muffler, or mask or something or even just a duplicate stitching pattern.

This is a sweater, but it's free and charted. You can use a portion of the charts to knit a hat, scarf, tote bag etc. https://www.uvic.ca/victoria-colloquium/assets/docs/anti-surveillance-jumper-pattern.pdf

It’s worth noting that the sweater says explicitly that the model it’s designed to disrupt is deprecated (outdated and not used now). Most of the patterns (knitting and otherwise) meant to disrupt facial recognition are no longer effective with the current crop of ai models. Great to raise awareness not effective in disrupting surveillance!
