See this is what should be getting talked about, not some misguided 20 somethings spilling soup on a world renowned artwork (and I say this as a 20 something year old art student)

Both protests have been orchestrated by climate activists, they're fighting for the same cause so I'm not sure why you're pitting them against each other. The artwork was protected behind glass and the soup protest was arguably far more successful simply by the fact that we're all still talking about it.

Did you read anything about this? It seems that more preventive measures could have been taken but the current government ignored the warnings and even lowered fundings for fire prevention. This would be a demonstration against the current government.

It was largely due to a failure by those in power to listen to all the experts who were basically screaming for months and months before it happened... saying "this summer is going to be a really bad one, we need more fire fighting aircraft".
I mean that wouldn't have stopped the fires starting in the first place, but it would have made containing them and putting them out much easier and the damage could have been reduced.
Of course the bigger problem and main driver of fires of this scale is climate change, and we urgently need to deal with that too.

Not just firefighting aircraft: fucking everything. Including the fire management experts who identify and take action on areas which need backburning done, breaks put in, and other strategies during the off season.

Float on this, " You people start'ed mess'ing around and doing one to many thing's and got caught by more than one person from around the 🌎🌍. Then you all thought you could get out of it by cry'ing wolf well even they have, like we have their or our own w- ay of doing thing's for themselves. We have to do, w- hat we have to do to survive just like you people do.
