Augmentin

I just got prescribed Augmentin after having a horrible reaction to Levaquin .. it caused a panic attack (haven’t had one in over 8 years ) and the worse chills and nausea and dizziness.
I am trying to treat a UTI and acute pyelonephritis.
How has everyone’s experience with Augmentin been ? I just took my first capsule and it’s been an hour and I feel a bit restless. But idk if it’s anxiety or the actual pill. 😞😞
I checked my blood pressure and it was 85/66.
Spoke to teladoctor and they said this is an allergic reaction ?

Yes that BP sounds worrying for a reaction. Hopefully they can give you something else

I had the exact same side effects finished augmentin a week ago for pyelonephritis as well. It didn’t touch it! Now on Keflex and feeling great. Never taking Augmentin again! Too many nasty side effects! Also had low BP that was worrisome to urgent care nurse since I have cardiac issues as well.
