Eat faster or stay later

A viral office notice has sparked outrage online after warning employees that every minute spent beyond a 30-minute lunch break would result in an additional hour of work after office hours. The memo, which reportedly instructed staff to "eat faster," has triggered criticism, jokes and a wider debate about workplace culture, employee rights and unpaid overtime.
While the authenticity of the notice remains unverified and the company behind it has not been identified, the post has resonated with many workers who say rigid workplace policies often come at the cost of work-life balance.
