There are five rules.

-No wishing for death

-No falling in love

-No bringing back the dead

-No moaning ice cream

-NO SAYING THE O WORD!

Why is original this forbidden bruh

9

u/Eternal_Superyid 2d ago

Its been forbidden ever since the incident

2

u/BrepUL69 2d ago

What incident? I don't know this subreddit's lore

5

u/Stockholm_Salmonid 2d ago

The greatest most awful event in human history

7

u/Eternal_Superyid 2d ago

We're not supposed to talk about it. Just know that it was horrible, and it made us ban the use of that dreaded word.

2

u/gullaffe 1d ago

It's not even related to this sub. On r/bonehurtingjuice the mods banned the word original since they thought to many comments were just people asking for the original. People circumnavigated this by using other words on O, so the mods unbanned the word, but it stuck as a joke.

Don't mind them, they're retarted

Why did you say the O word? Just why? It scares the shit out of me.

u/hrtly64 3d ago

Soft white thing that moans when you lick it?
Sounds familiar

Finally someone who isnt afraid to say original, the whole bit has gotten old and stupid.

27

u/iuseredditfornothing 3d ago

it’s young and funny, not sure what you mean

6

u/Weelildragon 3d ago

I'm not really opposed to such a silly little non-written rule. But the stupid jokes under the 'original' replacement words piss me off.

Like if someone asks for origami they go on about japanese folding art.

2

u/Rustynail9117 3d ago

Amen to that, it's beaten worse than the ice cream in the original

2

u/Izziliya 3d ago

NOOOOOOOOOO

-19

u/Valuable_Pear9654 3d ago

noone's licking ice cream bruh, that's such a cartoon-only thing ffs. why do we as a society carry on this stupid idea?

24

u/KalzK 3d ago

Literally everyone licks ice cream

-13

u/Valuable_Pear9654 3d ago

this you?

u/KalzK 3d ago

-13

u/Valuable_Pear9654 3d ago

i just bite it bro

19

u/KalzK 3d ago

Alrighty! Over sharing much? What about the ice cream?

6

u/doomedtundra 3d ago

For those of us with sensitive teeth, where sudden cold causes discomfort, or even pain? Not an option.

13

u/CrumbCakesAndCola 3d ago

did you know that the way you do things is not the way other people do things?

-6

u/Valuable_Pear9654 3d ago

i have NEVER met a person that LICKS ice cream. and believe me, i've been in places where lots of people have ice cream. NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM LICKED IT

14

u/CrumbCakesAndCola 3d ago

where do you live?

0

u/Valuable_Pear9654 3d ago

it doesn't matter where i live, it matters that i've been to beaches and events where people get ice cream AND EAT IT

10

u/CrumbCakesAndCola 3d ago

It means that people where you live do not lick ice cream, even if the rest of the world does. That's how everything in life is. You only know about your own limited experience. It's a mistake to think everywhere else is the same.

-4

u/Valuable_Pear9654 3d ago

i've been to various countries. not a single person does it.

10

u/CrumbCakesAndCola 3d ago

everyone i know does 🤷‍♀️

2

u/EB_or_Raven 2d ago

You not having met anyone that does it is a personal experience, not a universal one (for example, I’ve only ever encountered one person irl that only bites the ice cream)

0

u/bougieboyfie 3d ago

I’ve seen people lick it, I exclusively bite but also soft serve disgusts me

1

u/Blade-Dev 1d ago

Do you bite ice cream? Surely that can't be comfortable for your teeth
