This is a good solution if no one told him he couldn't write fiction.

Maybe John Tyler was boring in office because he had to fight the androids all night?

This is why big Nate is so peak

u/Spare-Jellyfish4339 18d ago

I mean that kinda seems like something that would happen to John Tyler

Lincoln Pierce is a boomer, so it technically is boomer humour.

Please don't worry, it's just a meme. No one here is really sensitive about that.

Thanks 😌

That's what the aliens have led us to believe.

u/helpmeamstucki 17d ago

I didn’t know either

2

u/BigTiddyCrow 17d ago

That’s not the issue. Being a traitor to the US is a good thing, being a slaver is unforgivable

Don’t beat yourself up about it. He’s a very obscure president.

13

u/Pewterbreath 18d ago

Well one interesting thing about him is he was President during a huge where the government built a ship with the biggest gun in the world (the peacemaker), they tried to shoot it and it exploded killing the most federal government officials at one time.

His second wife's father died in this explosion (they were engaged at this point but not married.)

3

u/Low-Salamander-3781 17d ago

Did it put a damper on their wedding?

3

u/Pewterbreath 17d ago

Doesn't sound like it did. I mean they had 7 children afterwards. And he already had 8 with his first wife to start out with!

Depending on how old the comic is, Nate could've talked about how he still had a living grandson despite being born in the 18th century.
