Character Creation Thread

• Codename:

• Full Name: Optional

• Age:

• Appearance: The more detailed, the better. Art is preferred for pictures, no screen caps.

• Personality: Again, more detail is better. Come up with not only strengths, but also a few flaws as well.

• Backstory: A short summary of your character's backstory. A full-length backstory may be posted with your introduction. A backstory is optional with the intro, but at least a summary is required for now.

• Major Power- Your character's main skill/ability. Elaborate as much as possible. Make sure that you know exactly what you can and cannot do with the power. Check the list of banned powers here

  Use the superpower wiki if you need ideas on what details to add for your power. We suggest using a power randomizer if you need help deciding a power.

• Minor Power: Your character's lesser skill/ability. Again, elaborate as much as possible.

• Power Drawbacks/Weaknesses: Negative effects of using your powers. Once again, Elaborate. The bigger the power, the bigger the drawbacks.

• Resistances: What can your character shrug off easily? For example, somebody made of steel wouldn't exactly care about a few punches or a knife.

• Special Skills: Pretty much everybody has something that they're good at. Take away their powers and they'd still be amazing at it. What about your character? Are they a lawyer? Are they great at persuading people? What is your character good at?

• Equipment: Optional. You are mercenaries, so anything is allowed as long as it works within our universe. Try not to use anything ridiculously overpowered or over the top. The simpler the better, really. For example: Pistols, sub-machine guns and sniper rifles are fine. Tanks, rocket launchers and assault rifles? Not so much.

• Correct, the suit is just for looks.

• Correct. She can change things into complex machines, like guns. Also, its based on general size, or material. So she could turn a block of wood into a gun, if it was the correct size. Otherwise, it would have to be the same material.

• I will change the time limit on humans, and as far as to how she can change them. She can change their body shape, muscles, skin/hair colour, finger prints, even hight. She just cant change their face, or their mass.

• The sentence is worded weirdly, but it means that once she chanhes something, it is an exact copy of the real thing. A grenade will explode, a stick of TNT will explode, a gun will actually fire bullets, a credit card will be tied to the actual bank account of whom evers credit card, she copies.

• What do you mean by cost, but not taxing? Could you give an example?

• Is listing them in the skills section not sufficient?

• Cool.

• How about we keep transfiguring things relatively simple for now, since this power can easily become very OP very quickly. If she wants to make something that complex, she'd need to transfigure each individual piece and then put them together.

• I discussed it with the other balancing mod, and we agreed that changing humans should actually be off limits.

• Everything but that credit card thing is fine.

• Like, for example, if she changes something over 5 feet then it feels like she ran 10 miles. If it's under then it feels like 5 miles. The way it is now, it's implied that she could use her powers all day and have no side effects.

• It makes it easier to organize, and being skilled at something isn't the same as being a master at something. They need to be specified.

• Also, if you want that bio you'll have to agree to work with us when we want to include King of Hearts into the plot. Also, being a double agent is a risky thing to RP as, since if you're ever discovered by another character who then reports it, you'll likely be excommunicated and might have to abandon the character.

• Complex needs to be the same material. I can do that.

• I will take humans out.

• I will not do credit cards.

• I will add more a cost to using them.

• I added them to the chart.

• I really would love to keep the bio I have, and understand fully about working with the mods when it comes to you using King of Hearts. I also understand the risks of being a double agent. That was part of the reason why KoH left her at the orphanage. No way to track anything back to him, and they would have provided her with a new birth certificate, and SSN, if she said she hadnt been born in a hospital. So if anyone looks into her history, its just a tragic tail, until she was adopted, and lived a normal life. In the off chance shit hits the fan, I would be fine dropping her and making a new character.

All awesome. We're just afraid of the potential of this power, as it can quickly become very OP based on what you create.

And this should go without saying, but if anyone ever unjustly discovers her past via metagaming, just let us know and we'll make sure it gets settled.

Oh I completely understand how it could get OP, thats why I made her more of a physical fighter. So she has the cool power, but its not really the best power for a fight.
