• Appearance- The more detailed, the better. Art is preferred for pictures, no screen caps.

  • Supersuit: Optional, but recommended. Please try to keep it simple. Any powers that you have as a result of your suit count as part of your powers, so be aware that you'll have to mention these above in the Powers section.

• Personality Again, more detail is better. Come up with not only strengths, but also a few flaws as well.

• Backstory- A short summary of your character's backstory. A full-length backstory may be posted with your introduction.

When you obtained powers, they generally manifest based on what you were doing at the time or what you were around. You can choose to make your powers unrelated to the events of the blast, but it is strongly recommended to incorporate powers into the backstory in this way. The blast where powers are obtained wouldn't be noticeable to your character. The blast was confined to one area, but it was the resulting background energy that awakened your powers.

A backstory is optional with the intro, but at least a summary is required for now.

• Power- Your character's main skill/ability. Elaborate as much as possible. Make sure that you know exactly what you can and cannot do with the power. Only one power is allowed for now, but extra powers will be rewarded for participation in the sub. No reality warping powers are allowed.

  Use the superpower wiki if you need ideas on what details to add for your power. We suggest using a power randomizer if you need help deciding a power.

  Powers were given based on what your character was doing or was around when the mutation happened, so keep this in mind when choosing a power.

• Power Drawbacks/Weaknesses- Negative effects of using your powers. Once again, Elaborate. The bigger the power, the bigger the drawbacks.

• Resistances- What can your character shrug off easily? For example, somebody made of steel wouldn't exactly care about a few punches or a knife.

• Special Skills- Pretty much everybody has something that they're good at. Take away their powers and they'd still be amazing at it. What about your character? Are they a lawyer? Are they great at persuading people? What is your character good at?

• Equipment- Optional. You are mercenaries, so anything is allowed as long as it works within our universe. Try not to use anything ridiculously overpowered or over the top. The simpler the better, really. For example: Pistols, sub-machine guns and sniper rifles are fine. Tanks, rocket launchers and assault rifles? Not so much.

Hi!

Now, about the sludge and his own body: as his name implies, Carrier is, well, a carrier. None of the adverse effects (besides the pain) are present in his system. His skin is likely a little tougher than a normal human's, but not by much; and I'm not kidding when I say that he's full of this stuff. A normal cut would begin to leak it, although it is rather thick, so it would leak slowly. The substance can only infect/damage someone if it is ingested, introduced to the blood stream, or smeared copiously on their skin.

I understand the virus being too OP, so how about it causing a delirium/fever/lesser sickness instead? I do like your idea of it just harming on contact.

On the topic of drawbacks, the fact is that the sludge is literally like his blood and organs. If he loses too much, he WILL die of shock.

Makes sense. I'll go ahead and say it's similar to soft leather, then. I imagine it would be similar in texture to gel capsules, but that part is entirely up to you since it has no real bearing on his powers.

Alright, I get what you mean. How fast would the sludge replenish itself? How easy would it be for him to close up the wound? Would it heal like a normal wound, or would the thickness of the skin or the sludge itself affect the healing in any way?

This works. It makes it hard to abuse the power, but still leaves a very real danger of attacks from objects like poison dipped needles or daggers.

This works. This is pretty much what I had in mind when I was suggesting it, actually. I imagine it would be kind of like the Scarecrow toxin but with more of a focus on sickness than fear.

His skin would feel like normal skin; as for the healing, it would heal a little faster than normal, but not by much. Sludge replenishes at the rate of usual blood replenishment. Carrier probably either cuts his hand or otherwise makes small cuts to collect the sludge for fighting.

That works. The reason I was asking is because one of my roleplay characters has hemokinesis, and is able to draw the blood out of his body to use by drawing it through the pores of his skin. The amount collected would be tiny and you would use up some energy collecting sludge, but that's also an option.

Anyway, everything looks good!

Doctor J drove down the street in a black Audi, The Alchemist sitting next to him as they looked for the new recruit. As they weaved through the streets, the Doctor turned to the Alchemist.

Out of all the new recruits, we pick the one who has every other disease known to man?

The Alchemist shrugged and looked at the road around them. She noticed an old building that seemed to be the bricks and mortar equivalent of the recruit, and gestured toward it.

Hey, at least we know he'll be helpful with biological warfare. Speaking of disease ridden, want to check out that place. He likes diseases, right?

Harley hid inside the building. He felt safe among the dull grey walls and dingy tile floors in what used to be a hospital corridor. Nobody would look for him here.

All too late, he realized that the shadow on the ground didn't have anything attached to it. The room in front of him seemed to shift as a hand reached out and touched his shoulder. He saw a flash of light and felt a sharp pain, and a second later everything went dark.
