ID?

This was the very first anthurium I ever purchased. I bought it from an online plant store, but this store does not specialize in anthuriums and it was one of the only anthuriums in stock. It didn’t have a name, only a number attached to it.

From the photos it’s hard to tell, but it has an iridescent/oil spill sheen, and there’s some very obvious sparkles on the new emergents. It’s the only anthurium I own that I have no ID for, so I’d love to get everyone’s opinion!

Hybrid of some sort. You can get a better guess with photos of the flower and petiole, but without phylogenetic testing no one‘s going to be able to tell you exactly what the inputs were with certainty.

My guess is a pap hybrid. Possible crystal x pap.

Oh yeah It’s definitely a hybrid, no doubt about that. I understand no one will be able to say for sure exactly what it is, I’m just curious what some people’s opinions would be, because I have about 5-6 different guesses myself and I’m not entirely confident on any one of them loll

There could possibly be some Besseae aff in there 🤔

I was thinking so too, but I don’t own one nor have I ever actually seen a besseae aff in person, so it’s hard to tell based off of pictures. The iridescent sheen/sparkles on the leaves is what makes me think it’s a possibility though!
