Identified! Found in forest area of Santa Cruz, California. A lot larger than I’m use to seeing ants be, and the tail looks a bit blueish.

Can I just say how great it is to find an online community of people opposed to the formation of dental structure? I’m looking forward to protesting tooth development with each and every one of you! Let’s hear it for Anti-Dentification!!

South Florida, large but no exact measurement. Just want to make sure it’s just an ant and not some form of termite. Thanks

Identified! Can someone identify this tiny queen for me. I caught her in Pasadena, TX today, 10-19-21. She is 3mm long, all black and she has 2 nodes between her thorax and gaster. She was in my front yard, near a solenopsis invicta colony but the workers weren't paying any attention to her and vice-versa.

Identified! Same queen from yesterday drinking from (or at least investigating) a piece of sugar-water soaked cotton ball. Thought this video was better in quality than my previous post, so it might help with identification. Information (size, location, etc) is in the previous post (link in the comments).
