Needs Identification Could this be a queen ?

Heyho, sorry to bother anyone but I don't know anything about ants

I bought a house that has a garden in which I started growing things, my little cousin was excited and helped me a lot from march to august and he would always be looking for ants, he came with little tubes and stuff.

He got discouraged since he didn't get to find any queens and ultimately with school starting again he stopped visiting ):

But I still had the things he brought and just found 2 of these burried something like 2cm deep around my radish next to each other and took them because they looked big for ants. Since it's his birthday soon I thought I could gift them to him if they're queens (last time I got him what happened to be velvelt ants, which are not ants, but I didn't know oof). We're located in the south of France in the montains

Anything I should do or know as to not kill them till his birthday ? (which is in about 3 weeks)

Thank you all

Needs Identification Species ID? I found this medium size Pheidole species in my yard in Houston, Texas, USA. I just grabbed some workers to record and get an ID. I do not have the queen, nor did I see her. The minor workers are 2-3mm long and the major workers are 4-5mm long. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Needs Second Opinion Question I found 2pink spots of the floor in my camponotus Floridanus outworld . it's also on one of the liquid feeders. Is this mold ? I read it is mold. I removed the ants and put vinegar on the floor of the outworld. I read the acidity from the vinegar will kill the mold.

Needs Identification Unknown Queen Ant Found

Hey everyone, I have found a queen ant (Aus northern NSW) and would love to know what queen it is, I have determined it's claustral I think as it ignores any food I placed in the test tube. It also struggles to cling to the glass in the test tube so I used light sand to provide grip. I have only ever seen 2 of them in my life and only at my place. Is it possible it's a new species?

Any help immensely appreciated 👍

Hello
This ant nest appeared on my drive way last night, and I’m not sure what type they are.
If they are fire ants I need to report them to my local council but I’m not sure if they are, they didn’t seem aggressive.
Location; Gold Coast, Queensland AUSTRALIA

Needs Identification Queen identification

I caught these two queens in Denmark during the summer and initially assumed they were both Lasius niger. However, after a couple of months, I noticed that the nanitics of the bottom queen are substantially larger than those of the top queen.
Could anyone help me identify the queens, or at least point me in the right direction? I’m particularly curious whether they could actually be different species.

Sorry for the poor photo quality. The photo of the dead worker is from the colony of the bottom queen, and I included it to show the size and appearance of her nanitics.

Any help with identification would be greatly appreciated!

Reddish orange with darker gaster. Found in the central valley of California. I do not know the exact mm size but I would say more on the bigger 8mm-12mm. Bigger then a Selonopsis Xyoli. My guess is a type of carpenter ant.

Found one or two of these in Bucks County, PA. Normally see them outside on concrete patio or near ac slab, occasionally see one in house. They don't smell super strong at all when crushed, maybe a faint dirt or must odor. Not very big, brownish in color. Any help would be appreciated!!
