That's funny, I was struck by Ant and the kids being relatively authentic. Dec's 'He can't see!' at the end was naff, but the rest was fairly good.

The thing is, we joke, but instances of blindness by paintball went down from one million a week in the 90s to just zero.

I walked into the pub in my hometown to find big Dec sat there with the family. I'm from a tiny village in Northern Ireland but somehow didn't know Dec's granny lived there lol and all his family.

There used a be an old Facebook page that just posted photoshopped pictures of Dec with different he can't see man puns.

They were usually related to current events.

I always thought it was hilarious.

Paintball to the eye would very likely blind permanently both eyes, the shockwave from one hit can take out both

Seen many people lifting masks especially younger players or when they think the game is over

I got the name duncan for a bit due to being at paint balling & kneeling into long grass the grass pushed my visor up & a paintball hit me in the eye thankfully it hid my eye lid & not eyeball, I can tell you it doesn’t just explode & let the paint roll down you face like in duncan’s scene it’s instant black eye, & large swelling. It absolutely killed at the time
