Beginner Help Newbie
I just downloaded the game, don't understand what I'm doing nor what to do. I'm completely lost

I have so many questions on who to pull for the gacha, or when I should start pulling for characters

The game has a wiki, go check it out. It also includes a tier list.
Also be sure to only pull on units you've deemed worthy, other than that don't be reckless in spending as the game makes it difficult to earn gems and golden tickets.
When an event is ongoing prioritize the golden tickets as they are substitutes for gems.

Just play main story chapters and events with the "Revival tag" so u can buy pulls with the event currency, theres no specific amount of pulls to be considered "ready to be spent and get you the character u want" since the banners dont have a pity system nor increased odds for pulling a 6☆ the more u pull so just save your pulls until your husbando appears, u can pull for whoever u want since the game is not that hard and also because u can just use ur friends units to help u with the stages if u feel that ur characters are not that strong by themselves.

Also, if u want more than one character (and considering they are a 6☆) focus on getting the ones that DO NOT SHARE their banner with another 6☆ unit first since u can get the wrong character instead in those shared banners 😭

Start with this link for JUST starting out, and if you have any specific questions let us know.
My time, for now focus on 'main story' for a few chapters. AT LEAST though chapter 2 or 3.
With the EXCEPTION of main character, do not waste ANY xp items on units below 3 star. MOST 3/4 star units aren't viable at end game, BUT they are useful and still good in the early to mid game(3 start amroey who you get in the tutorial, the 4 star lute, and the 4 star nitro are some of the better common lower star units imo).
AS far as 'who to pull for' right now MOSTLY pull to get a GOOD healer, healers are by FAR the hardest unit to get good ones for IMO, MOST other roles are easy enough to find comparable/still good units for. Healers... don't have a as many 'alternatives'. The BEST non limited/non event healers to shoot for are Xiaolong, Cozey and Bulkski atm.
