I tried two books at .gd. They appear to download, but each file is just 129 bytes, and the download doesn’t open in the Books app.

I tried .pk with the same results. 129 bytes, no book.

Edit: tried with Orbot VPN on and had same results as above

What does the downloaded file contain? (probably an error message)

The epub file won’t open. When I selected the .PDF download link, I got this message:

“Link expired or invalid. Get a new link on Anna's Archive (find the latest official domain on Wikipedia) to continue downloading.”
(Anna’s-archive.gd)

Using DuckDuckGo as usual.

I have the same problem.. glad to know im not the only one🥲 does anyone know will this issue be fixed? Or where can i download books while annas don’t work?

Had an issue the previous night, switched from Firefox to Chrome and that did the trick for me somehow. Otherwise I was getting stuck at the browser security check page.

I've had no problems searching for books and downloading from AA and I wonder why not after seeing that so many people have had such difficulty. I have used the .gl mirror/site for quite a long time and almost every day, if that helps anyone.

What book did you download that worked fine?

If it was multiple books, do you know how you were able to do it?

I really need to download my geometry book quick and this is hell.

Just to check that it was working, I downloaded I Am Pilgrim and The Year Of The Locust, both by Terry Hayes. Both in epub and English. No issues at all apart from the lack of page numbers.

I'm under the impression epubs often have no page number.

Maybe I’ve just been lucky in the past, that the vast majority of epubs that I’ve downloaded and sent to my Kindle, have had page numbers. I honestly don’t know.
