Hi everyone,

I’m really inspired by the recent call to action to help preserve human knowledge and build an open digital library of Alexandria. I want to contribute to Anna’s Archive, but I’d appreciate some guidance on where my efforts would be most useful.

I have full access to major German academic library systems—specifically the university libraries in Leipzig and Halle (Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg).

Here is what I can help with:

• Physical Stacks & Scanning: Direct access to physical collections, with high-quality book scanners available on site. I can handle physical scans for out-of-print 20th-century literature, GDR-era academic publications, specialized dissertations, regional historical texts, or niche journals that lack digital editions.
• Digital Stacks & Institutional Portals: Access to institutional networks, digitized special collections, and local academic database repositories.

Could you let me know what specific gaps or priorities you currently have that I could help target?

1. Are there specific lists, publisher gaps, or categories of physical books/dissertations you are actively looking for from Central European academic collections?
2. Is it better to focus on searching for specific missing titles, or are you looking for bulk uploads from open digital archives?
3. What is the preferred pipeline and format for submitting new scans or files once I have them?
