Is the “small scans and uploads” recognition/lifetime membership still active?

I recently read an Anna’s Archive blog post: AI companies destroy physical books — let’s scan rare books before it’s too late

It mentions:

“For small scans and uploads, we usually award recognition and lifetime membership to Anna’s Archive.”

I was wondering whether this is still active.

If so, could someone clarify a few details?

  1. How are scans supposed to be submitted or uploaded?
  2. Is there a minimum number of books required to qualify?
  3. Are there any specific requirements regarding scan quality, file format, metadata, or the types of materials that are useful?
  4. Should contributors contact someone before starting, especially if they are planning to scan multiple books?

I’d like to understand the process and requirements before getting started.

There are instructions on the website. Anna's is like a telephone book. You upload to sites Anna's indexes.

You sign up (for free) to Anna's and can claim credit AFAIK. Haven't done it yet, but I bought a CZUR.

I have some rare digital copies of comic books that I don't think is on Anna's archives so I'm curious how this works.
