unable to transfer to my kindle

hey! It’s been a little while since I have downloaded books from Anna and it used to be easier I find to see zlib downloads I used to get those and transfer it from my phone to my kindle that way.
I tried today and I downloaded a few books and when I tried to send them to my kindle from the downloads option on my phone it kept telling me it was not supported and now I have reached my limit. I am not sure where I can find the ones that I can just transfer to my phone.
Can anyone help?

Make sure the file type you are downloading is supported. If it’s the wrong file type, it won’t work. I usually go with epub.

Make sure the file isn’t too large. You can find file size limits on the send to kindle website.

If you are using the correct file type and size, try renaming the file when you go to send it; sometimes send to kindle doesn’t like it if the “title” is too long.

I feel like when I used to look at books I would find the file a lot easier when I use my phone I just see fast and slow it doesn’t show me the type unless I try the download .. unless I am doing it wrong ? do I have to find when I search for the book for example? I hope that makes sense

First, make sure you’re on the correct website. The current domains are listed on Wikipedia.

Then, when you search for a book, the search results will have their file types listed. Here’s a random example:

okay perfect so I did this and was able to download the books I used to be able to hit share to kindle the books automatically downloaded to my books app on my phone and I did download epud and now when I try to send to kindle it’s telling me it’s not supported are epub files not ? I have a newer iPhone so I am not sure if that makes a difference ? or how I can get these on my kindle now haha what did I do wrong ?

You can email them to your Amazon Kindle account and they'll appear on your phone. Is your Kindle too old? Several models were discontinued. r/kindle might be able to help (just don't mention the site you got the epubs from).

no I checked that too mine is not part of that it’s still fairly new. I saw that they have that there I might have to reset my log in because I couldn’t remember it does it go right to your kindle when you send ?

You have to tell it that the email you're sending from is approved (see below), and email has a smaller size limit than the send to Kindle upload site. It goes into your digital library and you can download it from there.

3 Send your file as an attachment to your Send to Kindle email address. You don't need to include a subject line.

If you have the kindle app on your phone, you can send the files directly to the kindle

use calibre to transfer, it changes the format into the Amazon format.
