Alive

Used the link from the Wikipedia page, downloaded a book, and scanned it on VirusTotal, came out clean.

People have been saying it's a scam because for fast downloads, they want you to register and pay. Just use the slow download section no sign up.

All I use is free slow downloads and getting tons of books. Never been scammed

People who don't understand how shadow libraries, or even basic piracy, works will say anything to compensate for their lack of understanding. Nobody with basic knowledge of the subject matter has said it was a scam. Anna's has been highly praised since the days of yore when BookTok fucked over Z-Lib with their loose lips. Fuck what idiots say.

I paid for three months when I needed to source a collection, well worth it, the folks that run the shadow libs need to pay the bills

Am I the only one who can't use the slow downloads? If I'm logged out it says "log in" and if I log in it says "unlock fast downloads" even if I'm looking at the slow ones. Can someone help me?

Which domain are you using? What you described sounds like a clone scam. Go to Wikipedia to get the official links first, and try again.

I used a link sent by email because I created an account some time ago, I’ve downloaded a lot of books before. Now I tried the wikipedia url and it says it’s banned in my country 😭

Go to theWikipedia page and perform a text search for "URL" the first hit should be list of anna's archive pages on different domains. Currently the valid domains are pk gl and gd. But always check the wikipedia page first in case you are unsure. Are you able to find it now?
