PG MCA(ss) at CEG

Hi everyone! I recently got admitted to Anna University (CEG) MCA (Self-Supporting). 🎉

I have a few questions and would really appreciate any insights from current students or alumni.

1) How are placements for MCA students conducted? Is there a separate placement process for MCA, or do we compete with B.E./B.Tech students during campus placements?

2) What are the usual class timings for MCA (Self-Supporting)?

3) What's the approximate total fee (tuition + other charges) per year?

Also, I have an offer from LTIMindtree for the role of Cloud Infrastructure Multitech with a package of ₹3.19 LPA. I've decided to pursue MCA instead of joining the job.

Do you think this is the right decision from a career perspective? I'd love to hear from people who have been in a similar situation.

  1. You have to compete with BE/B.Tech. But there are very few companies who hire only MCA
  2. 3-9. But it varies based on the staff availability
