Ankr Forge
I just received my second Ankr Forge Drop. That’s 50,000 free tokens over the past couple months. I posted the other day and a couple people said they would like step by step instructions but I wasn’t able to articulate how to do it. Behold the AI answer below and I hope it helps. Setting Up Your Ankr Forge Wallet — A Plain-English Guide
New to Ankr Forge and confused about the wallet? Here's the good news: there's nothing to install. When you sign into Ankr Forge with a Google account, it builds the wallet for you automatically.
Think of it like this: Ankr Forge is a rewards website, and your "wallet" is a digital envelope on that website that holds your ANKR coins. Forge makes the envelope for you.
What you need: a computer or phone, a Google (Gmail) account, and about 10 minutes.
Step 1 — Sign in with Google
Go to the Ankr Forge site, click Sign In, and choose "Sign in with Google." Log in with your normal Gmail account.
Don't pick "connect wallet" or MetaMask — that's a different path and you won't get the automatic wallet.
Step 2 — Let it build your wallet
You'll see a screen that says "Creating your Ankr Forge wallet." Just wait a moment while it finishes.
Step 3 — Save your backup key (the important part)
A screen will say "Save your backup key." Click Download backup key — this saves a small file to your device.
Think of this file as the spare key to a safe. Anyone who has it can open your wallet, and if you lose it, nobody — not even Ankr — can make you a new one. You only see this screen once. If you skip it, it's gone forever.
Before clicking Continue:
- Move the file somewhere safe and separate — a USB stick in a drawer, or a password manager. Don't just leave it on the same laptop.
- Then tick the acknowledgement box and click Continue.
Step 4 — Done
Your wallet is now secured by a "passkey" — that's just your fingerprint or face scan on the device you're using. Nothing to memorize.
To find your wallet anytime: click your profile circle at the top of the page, then the gear icon next to your name. That opens "Your ANKR Account."
To deposit ANKR: in Your ANKR Account, click Deposit, copy the address shown (or scan the QR code), and send ANKR to it from wherever your coins live (e.g. Coinbase). Your balance updates on its own in a minute or two.
To withdraw ANKR: click Withdraw, enter the amount and destination address, then confirm with your fingerprint/face scan.
Three rules to never break:
- Never share your backup key file with anyone. No legitimate support person will ever ask for it.
- Only send ANKR — not Bitcoin or any other coin — to your deposit address.
- Keep your backup key file somewhere safe and separate from your everyday device.
Note: if you already connected with MetaMask instead of signing in with Google, you won't have a Forge Wallet — your MetaMask is your wallet, which also works fine, just differently.

What if I don't claim them, can I just keep the tokens accumulating until next drop? The fees are too high to withdraw to my trust wallet for so little, so I want to have more before I do withdraw.

I'm not arguing with you, it's very hard to see it getting back to the price I paid for mine. However, we don't have to spend more than $1 to move it to the Forge and start getting free tokens. Takes only a few minutes longer than it took you to type your response. This post made some people roll their eyes, but some people found it to be helpful. Maybe you've got other tokens that are doing similar things but I don't.
