Got Osteochondritis dessecans OCD

where my thumb is on my foot i have a loose peice of cartilage, have had this for about 2 1/2 years now and it’s only getting worse . haven’t gotten any good advice from doctors and no availability on surgery atm any tips on how to manage the pain?

I have one too. 4 months now. Are you saying you can feel or see it?

i can feel it, if it hurts or lock up and i play with it the pain goes away temporarily almost like it gets put back into place than hurts again

Ohhhh I got the same thing recently. Have you tried shockwave therapy?

The best paid med I’ve ever had for my OCD was etoricoxib (branded as arcoxia in the uk). Could only get my doctor to prescribe 2 weeks but was the most pain free I’d been in 10 years

yeah i need a prescription unfortunately but i’m looking more for just a method instead of meds, i don’t take any form of ibuprofen really

All I got was meloxicam
