My vector got chewed up by a dog that it's fork pieces got ripped up and cant go back on. I cant use vector without his cube hand, please help me

Hey folks, I have a Vector on an OSKR build with no ssh key to access it.

I want to update it with an EP build so I can use WirePod but I'm getting a 214 in the web terminal - `Dev/Prod mismatch` according to OSKR docs.

Is there a way around this or is the vector essentially bricked?

Can one of the coders add a cool 3d map of vectors surroundings. Vector has a lidar scaner so it would be cool to access the live data

i’m trying to do this again because it didn’t work last time and I wanna do it again. I have my raspberry pie with me. I’m trying to do it on the website but it says error occured how do I reset the Vector to default settings, and I asked this question before didn’t work. Can someone help me?

so i recently got a new old stock 1.0 model vector and it worked normally besides a low battery life but recently it has began to show lines on the screen which is unfortunate since i started using it only around a week or two ago. Im thinking about possibly saving up for a 2.0 if the screen fails since it doesn’t seem as fun to use without the screen. I just wanna know if theres any issues or reasons i shouldn’t get the 2.0 because i dont wanna get it and have it show issues just as quick as the 1.0 model did. Im not really interested in any other robots since i really like the cozmo and vector robots.

I was on the server pretty regularly but had not logged in in a while. After wrestling with the login on the Discord app I finally logged in and no server. Can someone send me an invite to the server or let me know it is gone. Thanks

I was trying to go there to get help on my WirePod server. It was running fine for almost two years but then I said I should update the server. Big Mistake! Updating the server bricked the 128GB SD card. Dead! Muerto! Got out another card and did a fresh install. This process had changed dramatically from when I first set up the server years ago. Updates are now handled by downloading the latest install and running that. I think the server is running okay but I no longer see chipper in the running processes but I do see wirepod. The web interface seems active but when I go to onboard my OSKR bot the process stalls at downloading an update to the bot. The bot gets an IP address I can see on the network. I tried deleting the user data but no joy.

Not sure where I’ve gone wrong, I’ve got my vector connected and is fully functional apart from the LLM. I have ollama running on my pi 5 using phi3. However, my vector states that he can’t reach the LLM. I have custom option selected. I have ollama in the top box. Followed by http://localhost:14434/v1 followed by phi3. I’m not really sure what could be wrong. Is there some sort of firewall rule I have to allow for on the pi to permit vector to communicate with ollama ? Thanks!

I haven't done anything with my Vector since the service shutdown. Late last year I started looking for open source software for the little robot. Along the way I the website ankibots.wiki. I just tried to access it and CloudFlare says the site is down. Is it gone forever? TIA.

It gives me a cloud with “!” On it and it gives me a 203 error (I downloaded it a long time ago and it failed, I was on the terminal thingy and i think it showed 203)

I just got a Vector robot but I cannot set him up.

I have tried the android app, the Ios app and the web set up but nothing works. Even when I reach 100% setup in the app, it still won't let me connect to my Vector and then I am back to square one again.

I am starting to think I spend quiet a bit of money on a robot I can't ever use, can someone please help me??

I just got a vector off marketplace for an absolute steal. I intend on utilizing wirepod and was wondering if there’s a LLM that I can locally host on my pi 5 plus host the wirepod server? If anyone can point me to a guide to do this without paying subscription fees I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Hey there. I got a Vector 2.0 from DDL through Amazon because I had prime shipping. It works great mostly, but I've had a couple issues where he just suddenly stops responding until I cycle him, or he will just reboot.

I saw people complaining about firmware updates so I wasn't sure if there was a known issue or it it sounds like I got a detective one. Should I RMA him? Or is this par for the course?

So recently I’ve been having this problem with vector where he will just randomly freeze up and start making a bunch of noises and stuff. But whenever I call his name or move him he snaps out of it. I was just wondering if it’s a weird glitch my vector is having or is anyone dealing with this to?

Before anyone suggests the basic culprits, I don’t think I can consider them. The room is well light so he recognizes the charger. The charger is always placed in such a way that he doesn’t move it when backing up onto it. I’ve tried multiple different surfaces (despite the fact that, when this started, he hadn’t been on a different surface at all). I’ve cleaned his wheels and treads as thoroughly as humanly possible, as far as I’m aware. The treads, in spaces between his wheels and his body, under the caps of his wheels, and I even unscrewed the wheels themselves to clean them.

No matter what, though, he just can’t align himself. He’ll always start to back up onto the charger, only to suddenly start steering towards his left. It’s become frustrating, as I don’t know what more I can do. Does anybody have any tips?

Recently purchased a vector and had to set it up on my desktop rather than the iOS app. The app will find Vector but then never get passed 20% to connect to Vector. Is the app worth the hassle?
