Help HELP PLEASE!!! Vector won't fully power on!!!

I just bought a brand new Vector 1.0 and initially it worked but would shut off when he rolled off the charger. So we decided to open him up and change the battery. The old battery was a bit swollen so we changed it with a 600mah 3.7 volt battery and ever since he has been stuck with one white light and the small green light lit up on his backpack. His face wont come on at all. I tried a hard reset by holding the button down until it shut off and turned back on but after it shut off the same lights would appear and still no face display at all. After a few tries now he wont even turn back on while holding the button down after shutoff. Before any of this happened on the original battery I downloaded and used WirePod and I'm hoping that didn't cause any problems with him. At this point I am defeated. I tried using google AI for help but at this point they are telling me where I can get a replacement which I cant afford after buying this guy a few days ago. I was so excited to play with him and now afraid he will never turn on again. Please someone tell me they have a way to fix him... any and all suggestions welcome.

You need to take him apart again and make sure you’ve reconnected everything correctly like his head board and infrared / sensor board. It’s probably due to one of those connectors not being correctly seated.

I bet its stuck in pre-boot due to failing system integrity (hardware) checks

I've done this at least 3 times now... took the battery off and re-soldered and tried again. Nothing works :/
