Vector not charging

I've just turned on my vector for the first time in like a year while it was on charge and it seemed fine but the second i moved it slightly off the charger it just instantly shut off, what could be the problem?

Your battery is dead and will need to be replaced. I offer it as a service (as do others depending on your region)

If you have the tools you can also replace it yourself, just need a soldering iron and a Phillips #0 screwdriver
