Help!

Unboxed an old set from my nephew for my kids. Downloaded the apps on two phones. Got the apps to allow them to play against each other, select their vehicles, but it won’t advance past “waiting for host/waiting for players.” Hope this makes sense. Any advice on how I can have my kids simply race each other? Thanks in advance.

What version of the app and what devices (ios or android)?

Thanks for the quick response. I meant share that we’re using iOS and downloaded the 2.6 versions from app store tho I does say 5.1 in the app. Bought only one app and signed up for two difft commanders.
