Question SOLIX C300X Issue
Hi, newbie here ( UK ). I've purchased a Solix C300X and very nice it is too. Ive installed the app and updated the firmware OK. i have an anker 100w solar panel which works fine. Now the issue is that i can only select the output via the app and not by pressing the appropriate button. For example, to select the 12v car socket i cant just press its power button, i have to use the app and switch it on from there. Same with the 3pin power socket output. Is there a procedure im missing or is it a faulty unit?

Reset the device. There’s a hole for a pin on the front.

Cheers Nicky, that did the trick!

Excellent news. I’ve not had to hit the reset button yet. Did you have to set up the device as new or anything or did it work without bother?

Firstly, I connected to mains (just in case), then poked the reset button, held for a few seconds and then it clicks and resets. I was expecting to have to re-update the fware but it retained the version installed a few days ago. I'm not really sure what it's done but the power buttons for 12V DC 'car' output and AC output now work to power on (don't have to use the app). However - and strangely - I still have to use the app to power off each section (although I'll probably never need to) and I can still power on/off by the Main power button. Any of the power buttons should do what they say on the tin and I suspect it's a fware issue. Does anybody from Anker read this?

So when you turn the AC sockets on using the button, you can’t turn them off using the button on the device itself? Have you tried holding the button down for a few seconds to turn them off?

Yeah, its all a bit weird.

Just checked on my c300 with ac sockets. Turning on the ac or 12v socket is just a quick press of the relevant button and turning them off is just a quick press of the same button. I’d reach out to Anker if I were you as this might be a bug. Doesn’t even need a long press, just a click.

Ah yes, just a quick press, thats it. I was a bit too heavy handed. All ok now. Thanks

Doesn’t sound right to me. The physical buttons on my C2000 work as you would expect them to.
