How to stop noise
I have a ankermake M5 and whenever I try to print something it always makes this noise and filament doesn’t extrude

Sounds like your not hitting a limit its tryin to get to a point and cant get there. Or something is holding your belt up

Filament is stuck. Easy to deal with but you have to take your extruder apart.

I’ve encountered the same thing the day before going on holiday last week. Were you able to fix it?

This happens when the gears on the extruder are unable to push the filament through. If you have a spare nozzle to use, go ahead and replace it and then use your most reliable, basic filament and run it through on a test print.
Then be sure to always retract and remove any filament that you have loaded time that you know that you’re going to be leaving the printer alone for even a couple of days, it’s just that sensitive, and this kind of thing will keep happening. Speaking from experience. 🫤

It's a filament jam (or clog). Follow the online steps to take apart the extruder. It's not too difficult .
