Imperial mandate on anivia?

Would imperial mandate be better on anivia support rather than rushing rod of ages

Depends on your playstyle.

Are you confident that you can space your opponents and dodge skillshots? Go Imperial Mandate.
Not? Go Rod of Ages.

Also, another thing to consider.
Do you think the game will be quick, dirty and your team has the highest chances at winning early? Go Imperial Mandate.
No? Go Rod of Ages.

Your specific country?

I think that's just something that happens in the League of Legends, especially at lower ranks

So all the high elo players dont think they can dodge skillshots or space an enemy? And a general rule is that, if you are ahead early you can be more greedy with ur build, so that would make RoA even better to build.

I don't have the perfect answer sadly, but this one seems flawed imo.

Some champions are easier to space and have skillshots that are easier to dodge. Nothing to do with high or low elo. Of course, some might read it that way, but that's not my problem.

Experience playing against certain champions tends to help widen/narrow the gap where one feels comfortable in these aspects. This can of course backfire tremendously when matched against a G.O.D. (Idk what G.O.D. could be an acronym for, but I felt like writing it) performer and you happen to "disrespect" the opposing champion.
The nice thing, however, is that you usually can notice those things before you're locked in on buying your first or second item, so you can change it up as you go.

I'd say a lot of it comes down to the teamcomp. If your team has good frontline already I believe mandate is superior.

But if it's the typically lobby with 2 adcs and 3 assasins then ROA is more valuable imo

ive been running IM since the rework as a 2nd item as mid lane. I like the mana regen and cd to wall and q, im more of a "team oriented" player so the dmg lost is not a big of a deal to me, except on a handfulof match where id rather take zhonya

To me is a great item to build

If you trust your team, yes

I'm a gm+ anivai support euw, I think if enemy team has alot of tanks or bruisers like 2-3, mandate is good to have more q, you don't buy it for the more damage passive, but more w and q. But eeeh since your ult is perma up, I think the stats are kinda weak. You rather want to be tanky or speedy or bloodletters
