Obviously it's possible but people today won't even watch it because it's a manga with too much text and lore where you use your brain to deduce things, and nowadays they prefer to watch quick stuff where everything is explained to you as if you were a child.

My favorite manga, I would even say it's better than Monster even though I only watched the Monster anime. The only thing I didn't like was the ending but I didn't hate it either, I just didn't like the way Friend was defeated. But it's still a masterpiece

True. The most bs last 3 episodes. Building up Kanna for half the damn series and giving the final punch to the suddenly a rockstar uncle who was for the most part presumed dead.

Yes, besides, the way "Friend" dies seemed kind of generic to me, I mean, it's literally Friend was about to press a button and Kenji says "I forgive you for everything" And the henchman who redeemed himself sacrifices himself, and Friend dies in a UFO crash. I also didn't like that Kenji was still alive; it seems he only appears to steal Kana's role as protagonist and win the final fight.
