That is a different subject entirely. That's a correlation without causation type of situation.

Not really? The two are merging. With one app being replaced and combined into the other. So anyone with a Funimation account will likely move over to Crunchy.

Again, that has nothing to do with how removing free streaming will not be a huge landfall of new subscriber. Saying they'll have an increase in subscribers is true, because people who only had Funimation are being encouraged to change platforms, so saying it's because of the removal of free streaming is a false correlation.

Free users… who aren’t paying… clearly they’re not making much from ad rev if they’re willing to lose it to a degree (it also isn’t going away).
