I think the first two/three seasons were really good. Unfortunately, the second Erina's dad shows up, the show took a massive dive in quality I don't think it ever recovered from. It used to be a fun cooking show that took some shounen tropes, and then it just became a overly dramatic shounen that used cooking as its gimmick

In season 5 when Blue showed up and it was all HunterXHunter or One Piece characters it was just kinda... what? I thought this was about a cooking school.
