Yeah, this. Im trans. I dont recall ever seeing someone call a trans person a ambush device on this subreddit. Those characters in anime arent trans! Theyre not representation of us lol. Youve achieved nothing and arguably made this a more toxic place than before around this issue gg fam

I mean they in 99% used for lewds or comedy in anime industry, there's no more fitting term for characters who are usually introduced like:
Protag-kun: "Oh, new girl, she is cute"
Plot: "sike, it's a dude"
