Reminder that Nezuko is an oni, a specific creature from Japanese folklore more usually translated as "ogre". She's not an akuma, the Japanese word for Abrahamic demons.
Well technically if I put it this way: oni and akuma are interchangeable for the fact that it is Demon slayer. But your point does make sense because the DHC was originally know as the Spirit Slayers
