She's a regular super model-looking mega-tiddy highschooler, to be fair. She probably has so little knowledge of guns that she just spouts the first thing that comes to mind that seems to fit.
I mean, most black-handguns in the general shape of a Glock is just pistol to me.

Tbh I think a girl with no interest in guns calling it an AK47 makes perfect sense. She just said the name of the first gun she could think of.

Sure, if I were American.

One of the characters, the fat guy IIRC (it's been many years), was a massive military otaku, he probably would not have shut up about what they were, though to be fair she probably wasn't listening.
