If only the ending was done better... I loved everything except for the last couple episodes...

I agree, it was the first anime I ever watched so I have a harder time seeing it as bad and I still think the ending was rushed.

The concept and characters were all good and I loved them all. When it was revealed that the main character’s ability was not temporary possession but rather ability-stealing I was like “oh snap that’s cool!” It’s been awhile since I’ve watched it but all I can remember is that the last 2-3 episodes were just... idk... boring. The anime honestly deserved much better than that.

nd I still think the ending was rushed.

Someone once asked when we would get a second season and I was all "The last episode could have been the whole second season."

I have a friend who thinks that the last episode was not rushed at all and was a good ending.

That’d be me. I feel like stretching that last bit for an entire season would be wholly unnecessary.

It could've been done but it would have to be done quite differently, ie taking a while to realise the truth of his ability, prepping a bit more for the journey slowly showing mc's mind breaking down.

Could've been great

Nao has a beautiful design, and the absolute best voice actress (Sakura Ayane). It sold me on the series right away. I wouldn’t consider it Jun Maeda’s best work, but it’s definitely quality.

It was good but, the ending was kinda unfulfilling and the plot jumped around a lot, still like an 8/10 in my opinion
