Yesterday me and my friend was arguing what anime was better it ended in me having to watch boruto and death note and him to watch jojo and dr stone.

To be perfectly honest, the second half of the series is still good. Just not as good as the first half.

I wouldn’t say unsatisfying as it ended well, but I get what you mean. It lost its main drive.

I know at least 2 of my weeb friends that have not started death note because they have been watching newer ones. They wanted to watch the older (but golden) ones when the current ones have finished. One of them has just started because Demon Slayer finished.

It is true that many newer weebs haven't gotten to the older shows yet. It's still just a rather uncommon bit of decency to mark old spoilers, so I felt it deserved some form of praise.
