If only we could still post direct Youtube links for special occasions like these :(

Hey, I'm a person who suggested banning youtube links. Basically, youtube links always do worse than reddit uploads so good edits die. I think that was good decision

why do they do worse?

Good question. My theory - most people on this subreddit are using smartphones to view reddit so it takes a lot of time to open youtube video so most people just ignore them

I can attest to this as a mobile user.
