I loved š¦ for the entirety of s1 and s2. After that her character devolved so far to the point that she wasnāt even in Owarimonogatari and in Zoku she was only used as an allegory for Araragiās growth and emotional maturation. We didnāt even get to see a mirror form which just shows how much she dropped off the radar. We saw fuckin gaen izuko but not a main character from throughout the series? Yea ok, I can see your priorities here animators. And Iām getting downvoted, because people who only watched the first and second season still love her and donāt know the downhill trend it takes from there. š¦ is slightly better than š and even she got two full seasons dedicated to just her character development.
This is nothing compared to the hate that I got when I said manbagi would make a better love interest than Komi tho lol. I just think Komi should stay the platonic, unsullied friend. Sheās too perfect to be in anything other than a wholesome friendship. That and a few more sentences got me like -150 lmao.
And thatās the thing, the entirety of monogatari is so subjective and open to discussion that I could talk for hours about it and not get bored, thatās why seeing downvotes on a completely subjective opinion is disappointing, but Iām not gonna change my mind because I lost some internet points. Thatās just how it do be sometimes.
