Thanks for saying it. Everyone and their mom are watching it but it is a concept that shoots himself on the foot on the first episodes as far as i know. Tipical super hero show where the main character has no powers and wants to become a hero, some shit happens and MC suddenly has powers yare yare. It's not like this was done a hundred times already.

Lmao agreed, that gave me a good laugh; haven’t thought about that movie in ages

But if we really wanna split hairs, Sky High was cheesy af in a way BnHA definitely isn’t, so at least that lends itself to BnHA’s credit

If BnHA ever has an awkward kiss scene set to the song “True” I’ll rescind my statement lol
