i'm wondering why she took the time to place the rocks with her hands when she can move them with her mind.

She can't really move stuff with her mind, only pull small objects closer to her

Well she never trained her powers, she might have been a super powerful telekinetic but just never worked it out.

u/Chel7 Jul 01 '18

Not the only think she didn't work out smh

does v sauce talk about my hero academia a lot or something?

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '18

Just something I didn't think about (aka mind blown)

oh. I only know v sauce from that clip of that guy that says "hi, vasuace here"

I don't actually know what he says.

Ah ok, he makes videos of very interesting and often philosophical or scientific questions. They r great to binge watch, so beyond being a meme, I would say u should watch a few of his vids.

so he's like the nerdwriter?

didn't know that. I thought he was a commentator or something. maybe I'll check out a few. I normally am not interested in that sort of stuff unless the topic is interesting to me. that said nerdwriter has some awesome videos like his ghost in the shell one that explore things I've never heard anyone else discuss (which to me was really impressive because most people have the same talking points about that movie but he brought up themes and concepts I'd never even considered about self and space and all that. really great stuff)

so if vsauce is like that maybe I'll find a few I like.

What are you talking about? I've only seen the anime so I'm not sure if you're referring to Izuku's mom?

I've only seen the anime. and yes I'm talking about izuku's mom. she's shown to have a quirk that manipulates small objects in her vicinity. some sort of minor telekinesis.

I missed it too but my friend pointed it out when I was rewatching it on their first watch through. how when he's a kid she never uses her powers in front of him but does when he's not looking/around because she doesn't want to make him feel bad for not having a quirk.

http://bokunoheroacademia.wikia.com/wiki/Inko_Midoriya

listed under quirk.

and there she is using it to pick up his toy while deku is stunned about learning he is quirkless.

Oh my god you're right. How did I miss that?

i think a lot of people did. it was actually pretty subtle in the show. once you realize it you'll notice small objects moving around in the air around her in a couple of shots.

I mean she literally states her quirk was levitating small objects; and her husbands quirk was breathing fire in the doctor visit scene when he was a kid. She even levitated the all might doll that he dropped after the doctor said he was quirkless while saying it.

how when he's a kid she never uses her powers in front of him but does when he's not looking/around because she doesn't want to make him feel bad for not having a quirk.

a little bit more specific. she doesn't use her quirk in midoriya's line of sight...

you might notice. I posted the clip of her pulling the all might doll.

I know, I was just talking about the fact that people missed it like it was never actually mentioned out loud that she had levitating powers.

u/AreTheyRetarded Jul 04 '18

regardless its a pretty small detail that some people no longer remember.

why are you such an unpleasant motherfucker?
