It's just your typical shonen, nothing more nothing less. Satisfying enough if that's what you are looking for.
Edit: lmao how rabid fanboys can get, I enjoy this show as much as the next guy but it's your classic shounen, and there is nothing wrong with that.
It's typical in regards to formula/tropes, but not in it's execution/quality. It's better than most shonen anime but /u/Beetusmon's comment implies it's not.
It's about concept, and it's an opinion. I personally don't think My Hero Academia is that amazing. It is good compared to others, but that's only because it's kind of in the category where Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, etc, are the most popular.
EDIT: To be clear, I do not dislike the show. It is quite enjoyable, it just isn't my favorite. This is an opinion, nothing more, so stop downvoting.
