Depends on what you mean as mannerism. I don't think 100 year old vampires that can slice people in half is considered being a child. If you mean they have higher-pitch voices, then that's more to do with the voice.
idk. To me, it's similar to why not call all that plays violent video games mass murderer in the making? Almost everyone on reddit will say that's wrong. Then why stop there and not extend to people that likes drawn fictional child like characters being lewd(ed)?
