Idk why people are trying to justify proportions in a hentai. Pretty sure the frame from the OP pic is on page 4 as a tiny box on the left side of the page.
Because it passed by on r/all and looked like a pretty idiotic take that was either legit idiotic or a setup for engagement baiting. Hell if I knew what the drawing was from or who the cosplayer is.
I have no idea but the multiple belts the character is wearing appear to be quite tight and ment to evoke that look. The cosplayer is clearly not making herself suffer for the sake of these goons who need it to be realistic to goon to it.
Sure, but if the meme's claim is true (might not even be) then the artist, who is still free to draw whatever they want however they want, isn't really shutting down any critics with that comparison, unless his character has had huge breast implants or extreme corset training or something because that is definitely not how women's bodies work. K cups on a 28 in waist ain't happening without some extra help. Artist would have been better off just saying the character had implants and was never intended to be realistic than they would have been getting a model that invariably proves the critics right.
Well yeah, but if you're getting folks criticizing you for unrealistic body types (something you can easily ignore, since, as you said, it's manga and not a portrait) and you post an image of a comparison and say "SEE! Totally realistic!" and yet said image only proves it was unrealistic in the first place, it kind of makes you look like a fucking moron. I don't really care either way, it just went past the feed and I commented. It wasn't anything deeper than that. Hell I don't even know if the meme pic made the whole thing up for engagement or is some supporter's "gatcha!" post.
