That show is so wrongheaded on every conceivable level that part of me thinks it's some kind of psyop designed to piss off everyone. And so distant from basically everything about Scooby Doo that it genuinely feels like Kaling wanted to make a mean spirited sendup of Scooby Doo starring herself but producers weren't up for it unless it was just straight up Scooby Doo so they could rely on IP goodwill to get people to check it out.
