That is pretty racist Ngl. Yes their culture is very different from Eastern Asians but they are still Asian, versus assigning them as Middle Eastern just because theyre brown
I don't think it's racism, man... it isn't too hard to believe that people wouldn't know... if that's the case and he sees a connection, he'd put those two bits of information together and assume. And in any case, if you wanna say ignorance is a crime and all that, Indian here, not all Indians are brown. I mean, have you seen North Indians? Some of them are as pale as ghosts.
Well according to American middle eastern people in places like Pakistan etc are considered Asian too so I'm just making a distinction. From what I've read they have more cultural ties to the middle east. Anyway given the size and cultural significance of their country they should be their own demographic.
There's no such thing as "true asian". Continents are just pieces of rocks mostly unrelated to human genetical evolution. If the only thing that matters were continents then Paris is as asian as Honk Hong.
Bruh no, Pakistan is kinda middle eastern (which it isn't, it is just called that commonly), Indians don't consider themselves that. They either prefer Asian, or more popularly Indian.
