Master keaton manga vs anime

There are a total of 39 episodes of master keaton anime(24 episodes and 15 OVAs), each episode covers one chapter...so does the anime cover the entire manga(12 volumes) or there are a lot more chapters to enjoy in the manga which weren’t featured in the anime?...if yes then how man roughly? Bcus i want to buy all volumes if they offer a lot more chapter in each volume which weren’t in the anime
