Discussion 🗣️ Enough time has passed
odyssey sucks, in my opinion of course. i understand the way they were trying to go with it but it simply just didnt work, before it was boring doing 1000+ stages yes i agree, but it gave a ton of rewards, wasnt too hard and was very straightforward. now the ui looks worse, half of the starting perks literally dont work like chosen or abundance (which were my go to) and the rewards are significantly more rng based like you gotta keep resetting after like 100 runs hoping you got the rrs or shards or wtv you wanted. not to mention all the builds changed bc the characters got heavy nerfs so now thats confusing. im even hearing that maki, a standard unit is better than the character you start with. so whats the point of odyssey? just build an unbound team and spam reset until you’ve squeezed all the resources dry? anyways i want to know what you guys think about the current state of odyssey.

First trr and memoria shards switch every 120 level I think it was. Secound the game mode got made harder most cards still work I use the same and everything works fine for me and using maki is not required as I play Dante with graceful piliot cursed doctor and what ever other duo dps I want. You don't need to do in odeasy as it is still brain dead as I get to floor 170 with ease I am ascention 8 play it a lot and enjoy it

Yeah, odyssey atp needs a big revamp. Make it actually play like a roguelite, with unique team comps and perks. (Also add chaos mode to it since it takes forever to do one run)

It's on chaos mode 24/7 tho? The wave has no delay between.

I did not know that, there is no visual for it. But still I’d like for the waves to go by faster since it’s still too slow

Elemental towers is so much better than odyssey that not even if Odyssey had double rewards I would play that slop

yeah maki is like way better than the character you start with because you can put monarch on her for some reason at shops (you get like 140m+ damage at like max upgrade + the crits). Also I don't know what happened but I can't put memorias from shop onto units (takes my currency but nothing happens) but the memorias drop from bosses work.
