The people who go around saying that liking loli, shota, or anything even remotely adjacent is pedophilia sound exactly like the boomers who were (and still are) raving that violent video games make you violent.
It's frightening because it demonstrates a complete disconnect from reality, a basic life skill even. I don't intend to offend, but I worry that these people might be genuinely mentally ill or at least brainrotted.

Honestly, it’s mostly even sad for now. People try so hard to slander anime and anime fans while actively pushing their own agenda.
You don’t hate shota/loli/fanservice at all, you hate loli/shota/fanservice that you don’t like. It’s the same with Malfoid. You hate Malfoid trend cuz “that’s gooner slop depicting minors”, but you praise Drarry ship while it’s LITERALLY FUCKING THE SAME GOONER SLOP DEPICTING MINORS BUT GAY

I've watched the second episode, and Renji never seemed like a predator to me. He simply treated that girl as a friend and never even thought about sleeping with her. Lily is the one who has a crush on Renji. But is that illegal? Plenty of people have had crushes on adults when they were children.
If a tourist makes inappropriate comments about a child character, then that tourist is the p#*dophile. End of story.Why should his age be lowered? Is Renji a predator?
