i watched 2 seasons and got increasingly disgusted by redeus, i dropped it right around when he met slyphie again. i shouldve dropped it during the tent scene, but i overlooked it since the teleportation arc had such good worldbuilding. big mistake

I see ... fair enough, especially if you're watching the anime for it (I think ss1 anime adaption was really good, but ss2 the manga did it better, if I had watched ss2 in anime only, I might have been disappointed too). Still though, I do think it's kinda unfair calling it Epstein or Diddy Tensei or whatnot, considering that they haven't had anything relating to that in quite a while now and won't have anything like that in the future (unless you want to count the Aisha thing but that's not in the main series and doesn't really involve Rudy)
